Re: Game #02 - Bulls @ Warriors - Game Thread

They can't have a second half like last night, the Lakers are a defensive minded team that out side of Kobe can't really light it up. The Warriors on the other hand will allow the Bulls the score BUT if we find ourselves shooting 20% again they will kill us in transition and their 3 point shooters are deadly.

I can see us winning this game easily if we become aggressive offensively, too many long range jumpers could hurt us.

The warriors lack the interior defense to contain Boozer, Rose, or Deng. If the shots don't fall for the Warriors, it is over because they don't have any dominant figure inside.

Very passive play, Derrick settling on 3 pointers and looking to pass first. Noah a nothing in the post, Boozer ugh and nobody else other than Deng is playing decent basketball.

Bulls have no real athleticism from 2 to 5, the Warriors make transition look easy. Same old story from last year, Derrick doesn't play well the Bulls get destroyed.

Rose needs to create offense. Not necessarily shoot well, or not make turnovers. But he needs to attack. If he just sits on the outside passing the ball around the offense won't work.

It's no secret we built our team around Rose. Now he needs to be aggressive...

Great game by Deng again. That's about it though.

Every team will just do and did do what the Pacers did in the playoff's, they double Rose off the picks and when he does drive in hes instantly met by 2 bigs, they are almost begging Noah to score but hes a bit fat 0 on offense.

The Bulls DONT HAVE the athleticism or the bigs to make opposing teams pay for this. I'd like to see some 2 man game from Deng and Rose off P&R but it seems like the Bulls offense is not run that way.

Re: Game #02 - Bulls @ Warriors - Game Thread

Ugly display of offense for the first 40 or so minutes of the game. Too many turnovers (again) and no post game. Those things can't happen, especially if you want to keep up with a high-octane offense like the Warriors'.

Re: Game #02 - Bulls @ Warriors - Game Thread

With all the problems we allegedly have you would think we were an average team... Not a 62 win team and and eastern conference finalists. It is ridiculous how many couch critics we have as fans who talk about all the bad moves we make.

Glass half empty fanbase...

I took a few month break from this website because of all the whining, I came back to see the only people that post here are still the sad sack fans... Yay!!!

1-1 record. after a 62-20 season and some of you act like the team has no shot. Amazing.

Re: Game #02 - Bulls @ Warriors - Game Thread

Boozer gave us absolutely nothing tonight, a big disappointment in my eyes. Thibs should have gone to Gibson earlier. Rose could stand to be a little more assertive offensively, but I don't expect him to shoot 1-8 from 3 every night.

Casey, I get what you are saying, but this game was all sorts of ugly... you have to expect some whining after we come out and shit the bed in such spectacular fashion.

It didn't help that I was visiting my folks and spent all day telling my Dad we were going 66-0, I think I jinxed us.
