Bulls Toni Kukoc Named Special Advisor To The President And Coo Of The Bulls

Quote:
The Chicago Bulls announced today that Toni Kukoc has been named Special Advisor to the President and COO of the team.

“You only have to be around Toni for a few minutes to appreciate his personality, passion, and professionalism and recognize the contributions he will make to our team in his new role,” said President & COO Michael Reinsdorf. “Toni will work across the organization and his duties will be wide-ranging. He will bring valuable perspective that comes with experience to many areas, whether it is relating to the international players on our team or sharing what it means to be a Chicago Bull when talking to partners and fans. Toni will be a strong representative of both the team’s legacy and its future.”

“It is a thrill and an honor to again be a part of the team that helped define my basketball career here in the United States and in Chicago,” said Toni Kukoc. “The Bulls have become my extended family, and I am really looking forward to the future and being a Bull for life.”

Kukoc joins Scottie Pippen as a Special Advisor to the President. Pippen has served in this role since October 31, 2012.

A veteran of 13 seasons in the NBA, Kukoc played seven seasons with the Chicago Bulls. As a member of the Bulls, he was named the 1995-96 NBA Sixth Man of the Year and a member of three NBA championship teams (1996-98). Kukoc also earned NBA All-Rookie Second Team honors after the 1993-94 season. In 1992, he led the Croatian Men’s National Team to a silver medal in the summer Olympics in Barcelona.

He was a good player and now i hope he'll help the team

I think Toni can bring some value to the Bulls, if he becomes an ambassador for the Bulls to the Euro basketball scene. European players are increasingly important is the NBA search for talent.

What I am not sure of is what value Scottie Pippen bring as a special advisor to the Bulls.

scottie was a really intelligent basketball player and leader , a virtual coach on the floor and someone who quite honestly seems like he has a much better handle on people than GarPax who seem somewhat off in that area.
