So the bulls officially reside in nba purgatory.

Not good enough to contend for a title , conference or division title.

not bad enough to get a franchise altering draft pick.

the head coach is a rookie showing mixed results

free agent situation is mediocre , no player on the roster is a significant free agent draw , the money to sway free agents is average and the front office has yet to prove they can land the big fish....add to that its a poor free agent class anyway

they are good enough to make the playoffs but there is the possibility they wont, the probability is on a 6-8 seed and a 1st round exit.

And I think this is the rosy outlook.

They are OUT of the playoffs in the EAST!
The Head Coach has shown 0 ability to coach in the NBA. Best case scenario is that he can only coach a certain team with players that play to the coaches strength... That being said the Bulls plan to build around Jimmy Butler who only plays Jimmy Ball.

Don't forget that the front office is the laughing stock of the league.
