And now

The one who says no is Wolves.

My questions:

Is Butler is completely healthy? free injury?

Re: Bulls Sought Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn From Wolves

According to multiple reports, the Wolves offered the Bulls the fifth pick and point guard Ricky Rubio for Butler.

Bulls want LaVine.

A bunch of conflicting reports tonight. Some say Wolves offered Rubio when Bulls wanted Lavine. Others say Lavine was offered and Bulls said no.

Personally, I don't think Dunn + either of those guys is a fair return for Jimmy, though obviously either would let the Bulls fully commit to rebuilding.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are interested in Jimmy Butler, via @Roy ceyoung.

Probably not a fair return, but nudges the Bulls towards a situation where they can get the high lotto picks needed for a superstar.

I'm not thrilled about letting Jimmy get away. I just have learned over the years not to hold much hope in the Bulls front office being able to land a top star via trade or free agency.

If they hold off on trading Jimmy, lets hope that this time is the exception.

Re: Bulls Sought Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn From Wolves

I understand Minnesota's reluctance to let go of Dunn and LaVine for Butler. Dunn is the hard-nosed type of defensive player I'm sure Thibs wants to build around, and LaVine is a perfect 6th men for a contending team. I just doubt that there's much of a market out there to move Rubio for a quality starting forward/center that would compliment Towns.
