Talking How to upload your own Avitar...

hey I got my new Avitar. Big pimpin'!!

if you were as befuttled on how to upload your own Avitar image as I was, then here's the answer to the riddle:

click on "User CP" at the top of your page...

goto: "Edit Options" in the secondary navigation...

scroll to the bottom of the page

hit button which says "Change Avatar"

and it's all cake from there!!

I actually set my control panel not to display avatars...I have a slow dial-up connection at home and I don't need them popping up at work...

That said---how do you create the gifs like the one where MJ is doing his signature dunk?

hmm...

I wouldn't mind knowing that as well. There might be a site somewhere that has small animated gif's like that one that you can download.

oh yeah.. got MY avatar going! now i feel like myself again

anyway, those animated GIF's can be created -- I remember building one myself a year or so ago. but now i can't remember what program i had used to build it.

but those gif's of actual video (i.e. MJ dunking) -- those are not the kind of thing you do on your own computer at home. there must be a website that allows you to submit short video clips... or they just already made that stuff to begin with.

i wouldn't mind one of MJ taking "the shot"...
