Thomas Robinson PF- Kansas

6'10" 240
PF
Junior
Kansas

Kid is going to be a damn good player on the next level. He has a great frame, a nice skillset and seems to have a fantastic work ethic/attitude. Was the best player on the floor tonight against Baylor and has really come into his own once he became a starter. Averaging 17/12 (on 54% shooting) a game so far this year. A top 5-10 pick in the 2012 draft.

Yeah, a lot of people seem to be all over him. Can he play in the post and rebound in the NBA or is he more of a face up 4. Sorry, I really haven't been watching much CBB this year.

He can do a little of both, but preferably down in the post. He is one of only 3 guys to average 17/12 over the past 15 years in CBB (Tim Duncan and Blake Griffin being the others). He also had a couple of face-up plays where he made a move and finished last night. Believe he also hit a mid-range jumper or two. Kid is a beast. Would definitely take him over Sullinger for the NBA level, without thinking twice.

He's my favorite player in this draft. Dude is a beast!

Who do you think is a good NBA past or present comparison for him?

Millsap. I was looking at that photo of he & Robbie Hummel, no way T-Rob is more than 6'8". I still think he'll be pretty good, but some team drafting 6-10 is going to get a bargain when his height scares people off.

Millsap. Maybe Taj Gibson. Undersized but, in the right system can be productive.

I think he'll turn out to be a poor man's Blake Griffin. I don't think that's exactly what you'll need to turn your franchise around, but he's certainly worth a look 2-6.

Thomas Robinson just told me he measured 6-8 3/4 with shoes. 7-3 wingspan and 5 percent body fat. Official measurements released tomorrow.

His wingspan and motor makes 6-8 doable for me

Slot him at the four next to Cousins in Sacramento, pound people in the middle.
