Players you realistically want to see the Clippers sign

Well its that time again, the time to take to FA's has begun.
Who do you guys want to see on the Clippers?
The Clippers are limited to the MLE and not sure if they will use all of it due to the tax. Of coarse they could do a sign a trade to get a FA.

Steve Blake would be a nice fit in my opinion, obviously not for the full MLE.

francis or miles if they are bought out from portland. portland owner is so rich who knows, maybe he would buy them both out just because they have like 20 people on their roster right now.

I'd like to see Francis & Mobley back together. Hopefully reviving each of their respective careers.

Re: Players you realistically want to see the Clippers sign

id love to see papolukas. But we would have to trade maggette for cap space to have enough money to get him. We already lost our opportunity to do that when we didnt pursue the bobcats draft pick.

That still might be one of the worst non moves we have done right along together with not getting pierce or iverson when we could have. Easily we could have had the 10 million trade exception plus brandon wright for maggette. Hes about the same player potentially as a jason richardson, yet doesnt have the crazy contract. That one more right there could have changed this whole franchise. We would have had brandon wright who would have gone Number 1 last year, we could have had MLE space in order to get papoloukas, and we coudl have been in the running for kevin garnett or another superstar due to that 10 million dollar trade exception.

Oh and also I think Eddie Griffin would be a nice add because he'd bring frontcourt depth and 3-point shooting.

At PG, keep Hart around, or chase Vaughn/Knight. Atkins would also be a decent last resort.

At the wings, if Miles is bought out, sign him. Even if he doesn't play again, let him retire a Clipper.

Up front, Ryan Hollins and Eddie Griffin will be nice signings in my opinion.

EDIT: I also won't mind Danny Fortson being signed by the Clippers for the vets minumum. He is an enforcer who can guard the big dudes, such as Shaq, and come in and pick up a few whatever fouls.

100% my hopes.

Danny fortson i wouldnt mind, but i dont think theres room on the roster for him. dump williams or davis, then get him.

Nope, your right with Griffin and his MWD[Masterbating While Driving], but he's like Sean Williams, a pure shot blocker. Think we should at the least let him come in during training camp just to give Davis and Williams a scare, that is, if they are to remain in a Clippers uniform next year

Eddie Griffin's car accident:

"On March 30, 2006, he was involved in a bizarre car crash. Witnesses and friends stated that he was watching a "porn movie on a DVD in his vehicle, and was masturbating". After the accident, Griffin entered a nearby convenience store. The store's security camera recorded video of Griffin repeatedly saying he was drunk, that he didn't have a driver's license, and of him pleading with the man whose SUV he crashed into, offering to buy him a new car in exchange for not calling the police."

Classic stuff there.

Everybody makes mistakes. Dunleavy is good at getting playerd to straighten up off the court (see Sam Cassell) which is why I'm confident not only that we can sign Griffin and get value, but also Francis. He won't complain because A) Mobley, his homey, is there too, and B) Because Dun will punch him in the face. jk
