Erickson replaces Villone after he gives up a single. Baltimore has a runner on 1st with 1 out. Come on Erickson.

Matos with an RBI double...5-4 Yankees. Our relievers stink! Runners on 2nd and 3rd with just one out.

Erickson is gone, Farnsworth will make another appearance. Bases loaded 1 out, let's see if he can get 5 outs without screwing up like he did last night.

Damon reaches 1st on a single. Damon attempts to steal 2nd place, he would have been out if Roberts didn't drop the ball. Derek Jeter with the clutch RBI single to give the Yanks a 6-5 lead! Man I love Jeter, great clutch hitting.

Farnsworth shuts me up and shuts down the Orioles in order to end the game. The Yankees win by the final score of 6-5. Derek Jeter had a big game, and Phillips also came through as well. Stay tuned later on for the full recap.

Re: Yankees vs Baltimore Game Thread (Time To Go Bird Hunting) 6/2-6/4

The bird hunting is good. One shot and one bird down. Jeter moved to third in the batting order with yet another YANKEE out of the lineup, comes up big with 'clutch' rbi hits in the 7th and 9th innings to help win the game. Melky plays a brilliant left field throwing a runner out at the plate yet again and cutting off a couple of balls that possibly could have meant runs and the game to the O's. Just how deep is this team?

Thats the one place Melky is better then Matsui. We may have lost tonights game if butterfingers was out in leftfield.
