Also Lance Lynn is 10-2 as well. What makes Tillman better?

Wins follow statistics. Statistics do not follow wins.

Now you're insane. Do you even know what team Lance Lynn plays for? I'll give you a hint, they're better than the Yankees.

NL Central is the best division in baseball. Pittsburgh and St. Louis are two of the best teams in baseball (and better than the AL East) in the same division. When's the last time the AL won the World Series?

I seem to remember San Francsico, St. Louis, and San Francisco winning the last 3 titles.

Better league...nice try, but you're not even close to right.

Why do you have Lynn over Wainwright? Lynn got a high 3s Era compared to Wainwright low 2s

Re: Top five MLB starters

Lynn was mentioned earlier.

Wainwright is by far the Cards best pitcher.

I'm a fan of the guys you listed, but I think Adam Wainwright is probably on the list myself.

*Unabashed homer warning.

Wins are the desired goal of a pitcher and his team, ERA is just another stat used by many to fool themselves into believing that pitchers who wins at a lesser rate than the best winning pitchers are better. For the first three months of this season my five pitchers listed are the best in baseball.
