NEED HELP! Don't know what direction to go, all AAU tryouts are over. What do I do now?

I know I'm a new member and this isn't the idea of the forum. But I really need some help you guys. I am so disappointed. I'm a talented bball player I wanted to play AAU this year, I am a freshman. I just started looking into it today, and their are about 3 teams around where I live. What's the problem you ask? Almost all of them had their last tryouts only 4 days ago! I missed it by 4 days...
I really don't know what to do. I want to go somewhere in basketball and AAU is the only way to do that.. What the hell should I do if all the tryouts are over!? High school season is over.. I don't know what to do, I could wait untill next year but then I'll have a late start over all the others hoping to get recognized. Are their any alternatives? Anyone help...

Even though you missed the tryouts, you could still possibly go and ask if they could reconsider you trying out(especially if your a good basketball player). Even if they say no, you still have to keep practicing. You said that you think you'll have a late start over all the others hoping to get recognized, but really, if you keep practicing throughout the year, then there's no way that you would be behind them in your basketball skills. They only way to get better at basketball, or any sport for that matter, is to keep practicing. So I would say to keep trying your hardest, and don't give up on basketball, especially if it's something you love.
