You are better off waiting for Harry Giles

Why? Simmons is seen as probably the best prospect since Lebron.

He might not pan out to be that, but regardless, it's how he's seen.

DraftExpress has him #2 in the 2016 draft behind Skal Labissiere: http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-mock-draft/2016/

CBSSports.com's Sam Vecenie ranks him as the #2 PF again behind Skal Labissiere: http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on-...power-forwards

And NBAdraft.net has him at #1 .

This reminds me of when people acted like there was a chance Wiggins wouldn't go number one and argued endlessly with me. This happens every single year. They try to act like there's a chance someone else will go #1 right up until draft night.

A lot of people have Simmons going #1 with good reason but the difference between him and did next handful of guys(Skal Labissiere, Brandon Ingram, Jaylen Brown, and Dragan Bender) is not great, Embiid probably goes #1 in '14 if his body allowed it.

And if Embiid didn't get injured right before the draft and went #1 , he'd be in the running for leagues biggest bust of all time seeing as he still wouldn't have been injured at some point before the season with how fragile that foot seems.

Simmons has the chance to be the next TMac. We'll see how the others pan out, but I think it's fair to say Simmons is the favorite at this point.

I agree with everything you have said in this thread, but NBAdraft.net is like...not helping your point.

Meh, none of the draft sites are all that good. Hell, even Chad Ford has been caught for going back to old mock drafts and changing them years later once he sees how the players pan out in an attempt to make himself look better.

No, that's why God invented the Brooklyn Nets. Or at the very least Billy King.

Nope. Boston owns the Nets' picks outright in 2016 & 2018 and have the right to swap firsts in 2017. Pierce & Garnett not only delivered Boston five years of superb basketball (that last season was destroyed by injuries to everyone else) and an NBA title, they're responsible for rebuilding the team.
R-Star, Wade County and Dissonance like this.

Which is why they will forever be loved in Bean Town.
