As an Aussie, super excited about this kid. Gonna be a jet.

Highlight machine

This LSU team though, the offense is so poor.

Yeah, I am still not sold on this kid. He is a good player but do not see him being the can't miss NBA prospect.

Really?

Even on cruise control I think the talent is undeniable. Closest thing I have seen to Lebron in terms of skillset.

I like Simmons game a lot. His biggest thing is developing a jumper.

If you like Simmons you need to wait a few more years for Marvin Bagley. I know a few people who consider him the best HS prospect period since LeBron and he's only a sophomore.

In my head all I keep hearing is "If you like Barnes you need to wait a few more years for Shabazz Muhammed."

This reminds me of your anti Westbrook comments prior to him being drafted.

Ben Simmons is a can't miss prospect. Is he a guaranteed generational star like Lebron or Jordan? No. This kid is making allstar games at the very least though.

Re: Ben Simmons - F - LSU

Been watching basketball for a minute now, and I've never seen anyone use both hands as well as Ben Simmons does. He takes being ambidextrous to a whole new level. Its like his mind gets bored in mid-air and he decides to switch where the ball is going

Those agents at the Marquette game better be telling themselves, this guy is the number one pick. Incredible competitor.

He needs to show he can shoot though, that last sequence. He had the look

Not guaranteed to be generational, but I think the probability is high. He's just way too skilled, has ridiculous size, plays good defense, etc. He would probably go #1 in drafts over Kyrie and Towns. Hopefully he can stay injury free and reach his potential.

Beasley never had a 5 assist game in college.

I think the TMac comparisons are fairly apt.

Ouch!

I know he was a rebounding monster though. Certainly nowhere as a good a passer as Ben

Re: Ben Simmons - F - LSU

I think the best comp for Simmons is the current version of Blake Griffin with a worst shot right now.
