  1. NBA FINALS: #1 Golden State Warriors (3) vs. #1 Cleveland Cavaliers (4)

    2015-2016 NBA Playoffs
They messed that Igoudala "block": that would have been the only shot other then Kyrie's 3 in the last 4 minutes of the game!!! Funny how that game went: the only reason that Lebron block was needed to save the game was Irving's wild drive which led to the break. He then turned around next...
  2. NBA FINALS: #1 Golden State Warriors (3) vs. #1 Cleveland Cavaliers (4)

    2015-2016 NBA Playoffs
Just wanted to stop by: been a long journey and the King finally brought it home. Big thank you to Mark Cuban - god damn Richard Jefferson was the fucking difference for us. Guy was amazing at decision making on offense and guarding multiple positions

Re: NBA FINALS: #1 Golden State Warriors (1) vs. #2 Cleveland Cavaliers (2) Maybe but my last post was last year about the Suns picking up Bledsoe of all things. I still posting a lot even through the bad years just not as much over here.

Re: NBA FINALS: #1 Golden State Warriors (1) vs. #2 Cleveland Cavaliers (2) lol: as always the ray of sunshine over here.

Re: NBA FINALS: #1 Golden State Warriors (1) vs. #2 Cleveland Cavaliers (2) If the Cavs win the title, that trade will go down as one of the best of all time. The Cavs aren't Memphis. Our defense is like their's but not our offense. Obviously they have Lebron but there defensive perimeter...

Re: NBA FINALS: #1 Golden State Warriors (1) vs. #2 Cleveland Cavaliers (2) Two wins away baby! This being Cleveland, I predict Lebron tears his ACL in the 4th quarter of game 6 with the Cavs up 3-2
  7. Update: Suns, Eric Bledsoe agree to 5-yr/$70M deal

    NBA Forum
Re: Eric Bledsoe Qualifying offer imminent, league source says. That will be a nice way to restart the rebuild: top 3 pick plus Bledsoe would be nice. Only concern is he isn't worth the max and with his injury history you would have to be real careful about overpaying.
  8. Update: Cavs acquire Kevin Love, Jamel is still complaining, T-Mac injured

    NBA Forum
The cap will be higher plus Gilbert has always been willing to pay the tax. In any case if they have to let go of a guy like Waiters or Thompson they still have a lot of flexibility: Haywood's expiring deal, Memphis's likely lotter pick, the Cavs own draft pick should be able to get roleplayers...
  9. Update: Cavs acquire Kevin Love, Jamel is still complaining, T-Mac injured

    NBA Forum
Where is the idea the Cavs don't have tremendous flexibility going forward coming from? The salary cap is only a burden if you don't plan to get around it. One reason they gave up on Wiggins is that they were able to keep the Waiters and most of their draft picks. Wiggins is good prospect but...
  10. USA Basketball Scrimmage 9PM Friday Aug 1 ESPN (Paul George suffers serious leg injury)

    FIBA Basketball World Cup
Jesus that was horrific. ****ing ridiculous that the NBA and USA basketball can't get hoop stanchions that are better designed to prevent injury then this crap. Reminds me of that Noel injury in college with the stanchion although George's look much worse.
  11. Update: Cavs acquire Kevin Love, Jamel is still complaining, T-Mac injured

Re: Update: Love 'says' he wants to explore FA, Wolves open to 'right deal' Wiggins is very raw. Positives: Superb athlete who can jump high and is also quick: allows him to draw fouls even if he doesn't do anything else well. His pluses are that he's willing to play defense and his elite...
  12. LeBron: I'm coming back home to Cleveland

    NBA Forum
I've posted a few times since Lebron left. Cut back as activity fell off here and all the dumb password resets. Will try stopping more: good seeing a lot of old timers around.
  13. Games of 2-11 NBATV Doubleheader

    NBA Forum
He's actually looked good for the last 2 weeks. Finally in enough shape to actually run the floor w/o looking like he's a 50 year old fat guy. Really unique body/skillset. Not saying he's going to a Barkley or LJ but he presents similar problems: you just can't move him because his weight/low...
  14. NBA FINALS: #2 San Antonio Spurs (3) vs. #1 Miami Heat (4)

    NBA Playoffs Archive
Lebron James also seemed to make another just so - so PG in Derrick Rose look decidedly mediocre. I think going off the numbers alone dismisses the fact that Miami geared their defense to stop dribble penetration which allowed Tim Duncan to go one on one against Bosh and all those easy looks...
  15. NBA FINALS: #2 San Antonio Spurs (3) vs. #1 Miami Heat (4)

    NBA Playoffs Archive
Don't know how this series proves that Paul is better then Parker. Parker was just one San Antonio brainfart in Game 6 away from probably having two of the biggest clutch baskets in Finals history
  16. NBA FINALS: #2 San Antonio Spurs (3) vs. #1 Miami Heat (4)

    NBA Playoffs Archive
Popovich with some weird decisions: Not having Duncan in the last 2 defensive possessions of Game 6 Not having Parker in for last key offensive possession in Game 7. This may get whitewashed but I think he hurt his team by trying to be too cute here.
  17. Western Conference Playoffs 2nd Round Spurs vs. Warriors (Spurs Win 4-2)

Re: Western Conference Playoffs 2nd Round Spurs vs. Warriors (Spurs lead 1-0) Jesus are the Warriors terrible at finishing games. Finally bit them in the butt with this one
  18. Do the Lakers have any greater chance of winning a 1st round series than Utah?

I could care less about who will play better in the playoffs. Just get into the playoffs Kobe and so we can get your team's pick
  19. Create a team that could compete in a series with the Original Dream Team

A combination of Duncan, Wilt, Shaq, Kareem, and Hakeem would make it very tough but damn a combo of Magic, Jordan, and Bird is tough
  20. Damian Lillard - 2012/13 Rookie of the Year

Been posting mostly at realcavsfans lately. Sort of feel sad coming back here nowadays: I miss the old days and posters like Minstrel, HKF, Beez, Future, etc. Still visit to see as some old timers like you are still around. Refuse to go over to RealGM still lol
