7 games for the A-10 on Wednesday. Dayton is a 15.5 point home favorite hoping to avoid an 0-4 start to A-10 play as they face Fordham at 7 pm. St. Joes is an 8.5 point home favorite facing a Bonnies team looking to pull off 2 straight Philly upsets. Rhode Island and GW is a virtual pickem in odds makers minds both coming off road upset wins on Saturday. La Salle gets a chance to increase their at large potential as they host #9 Butler at 7 pm with no line set yet. Temple is a 19.5 point favorite hoping to shake off recent trouble facing struggling Big 5 rival Penn at 7 pm. Duquesne is a 9 point underdog trying to avoid an 0-5 start to league play as they face Saint Louis trying to bounce back and even up their league record. Finally Charlotte is a 3.5 point favorite at home facing Xavier who is 4-0 to start league play in an important matchup at 7:30 pm.

Kenpom only has Butler at 33rd and the 6th luckiest team basically meaning Butler isn't one of the elite teams this year but have outplayed their expectations and gotten a little luck against some of their big games. Add to that Rotnei Clarke isn't playing and it is an away game after a huge win which could set them up for a letdown game. Also if their players have gotten into the same mindset as their fans then they think they are unbeatable which is never a good thing.

Surprised at the Dayton/Fordham line. Fordham has been playing decently, 4 point loss to Umass and 6 point loss to charlotte... If only I had a little money.

I agree about the Fordham line - I wouldn't touch this line if I had to bet on this game. But Dayton is coming off of a week of rest for this one, no matter how competitive Fordham has been of late.

Saint Joe's and Charlotte all have must win games at home - I like the Hawks' odds a little better in this one.

Obviously, Butler/Lasalle and Charlotte/X are the marquee games today, but if you are a fan of this league than you might find the GW/URI game to be the most intriguing one in the league tonight. Both are young teams on the way up, struggling with consistency and the transition to a new coach. Both are coming off big road wins (URI over SLU, GW over UMASS), both look at this game as a big opportunity for a win, and an improved chance to take that leap forward (especially in the race for Brooklyn).

Obviously, I have my bias, but I'm very curious to see how this one plays out, and it could even become a nice little rivalry as both teams head to the top third of the league within the next two years.

The Charlotte/X and LaSalle/Butler is very intriguing especially with Joe Lunardi's most recent Bracketology report putting Xavier and La Salle, 7th and 8th First Out on the S-Curve rating system he uses (and supposedly he claims the NCAA selection committee also).

Either one of those wins will help their position... La Salle probably more so than Xavier, considering the opponents, but any team this close in the bubble is greatly helped.

Uh, Dayton has turned things back on. KD is a monster tonight. I should switch to pretty much any other A10 game. I can't stop watching the Flyers, though.

A lot of parity tonight. Many of the preseason top A10 teams seem to be struggling. This conference is wide open, and no game should be taken for granted (except for maybe fordham)

Fordham's been competitive, but they caught Dayton at the wrong time.

I'd love to see the Bonnies finish this one off and for Xavier to put together a few scoring possessions right about now.
