Just 1 game on Thursday for the A-10 but it's a big one. Saint Louis is a 2.5 point home favorite as they host #9 Butler in a game Saint Louis badly needs for at large hopes. Game is on CBS College Sports Network.

I expect this to be a 58-54 street brawl. I hope SLU and Butler have plenty of ice tubs in the training room.

Should be a good one at the 'Fetz tonight. It's Billiken Blizzard Night so the fans all get white t-shirts. Only single seats were available early this week so a packed house (rare) of 10,600 is expected.

Hope it's a good one. The prediction of 58 to 54 is not bad. Just hope it's better than that sorry crap last night I watched between X and YouDee. Nothing personal, I'm just used to better I guess.

Butler Ranked

So, the bookies make St. Louis a 2.5 pt favorite? Even home court shouldn't be worth that much. But at half time it looks like the books know their business.

If St Louis prevails, does TitleBU pull a Muddy and disappear?

You know the last time I remember you posting this was when Butler played La Salle. You were trying to point out that because Butler was so statistically stronger than La Salle there was no way La Salle would win that game.
It seems like history is repeating itself again tonight. Maybe you should stop showing how superior Butler is since you're playing in the A-10 these days.

At the half of the Gonzaga @LMU game Andy Katz said (paraphrased) that what Butler is realizing is that these trips to La Salle and SLU are nothing like what they faced in the Horizon.

They lost 5 and 7 conference games the prior two seasons in the Horizon. They are on track for six this year (not considering the first X game).
