I thought we could take what might from other places, as many schedules are not finalized. I am passing on here the Bucknell non-conference schedule intelligence. The home games are set, part of the season tickets solicitation, but there are gaps in the road games, particularly in the 2K Classic Niagara pod in November... Credits go to Bison137 for keeping track of the various streams of information and assembling this schedule on the Bucknell board.

"Nov 9 (Fri) or 11 (Sun): 2K Classic Opener: at Purdue.

November 13 (Tuesday): George Mason (HOME)

November 16-18 (Fri-Sun) : 2K Classic Sub-regional - 3 games, at Niagara.

November 23 (Fri): at Penn State

November 27 (Tue): Dartmouth (HOME)

December 1 (Sat): at Columbia

December 4 (Tue): Kent State (HOME)

December 15 (Sat): LaSalle (HOME)

December 17 (Mon): at St. Francis (PA)

December 19 (Wed): Marist (HOME)

December 28 (Fri): at Loyola (MD)

January 2 (Wed): at Cornell

January 5 (Sat): at Missouri

TBD: at Princeton and possibly one other game.

There are several available spots where games could still be scheduled. Saturday December 22nd seems likely, maybe the Princeton game. Also, with a week between the Missouri game and the PL opener, it is certainly possible we could see a game on Tuesday or Wednesday, although that is far from certain. Not likely but possible: Wednesday November 21st. "

Here is the full slate for BU. Strangest part is two games against Coastal Carolina (WTF?) and no games against usual suspects like URI, Delaware, St. Joe's, etc. I thought we were supposed to play at the Boston Garden in a double header this year. Guess that flopped...I like that we are playing George Mason and Rutgers though.

I agree that the schedule is weaker than usual. I guess its part of the "bridge year" with a lot of freshman.

If we have any designs on post-season (obviously not NCAA), doing well in the OOC is crucial. Perhaps this schedule was designed to try and get a good record?

Well, I think the majority of the schedule was probably already worked out at the point they made the jump. I just think some school or two dropped BU and we had to scramble and get Coastal Carolina. Actually if you take away those two games and added Delaware and St. Joe's, the schedule would be similar to past years minus the "big" game we've played against the likes of Kentucky, Villanova, etc. That could have been the difference

Boston University has been on Bucknell's schedule the past few years and had been anticipated, but the contract may have ended.

Nice set of Christmas week games for your Eagles...

Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne. Talk about an identity crisis. Redeemed somewhat by one of the cooler mascots in D1, the mastodons.

Play in the Summit League... Went 11-19 last year; 5-12 in league play.
Dane Fife was the youngest head coach in America at IPFW until last season, when he left to go to Michigan State. Actually had decent success there, going 82-97 in six years, including 18-12 in 2010-11.

For sports, "IPFW" is now just "Fort Wayne". It's right out of the Charlotte/Milwaukee/Green Bay playbook. The Summit League also announced that "Nebraska-Omaha/UNO" is now "Omaha", "UMKC" is "Kansas City", and "IUPUI" is... "IUPUI". Can't win them all, but I still love saying "Ooey-Pooey". Go Jaguars.
