Former Georgetown coach John Thompson III is among the pool of potential candidates for the George Washington men's basketball head coaching job, multiple sources tell NBC Sports Washington.

Bowling Green head coach Michael Huger, Louisiana Tech head coach Eric Konkol and Duke assistant coach Nate James are among the other likely candidates, NBC Sports Washington has learned.

One thing GW has been missing really since the Hobbs years has been an identity on defense. Might be rough the first few years having to mold a defense around guys you didn't recruit but I can't wait to see what he has in store!

Forage.

Context:
The Forage War

January-March, 1777

After taking the offensive during the Trenton-Princeton campaign, George Washington shifted to a defensive strategy aimed at preserving his army and destroying resources desperately needed by his opponents.

Known as the Forage War, this period was noted for several small engagements in which Washington's troops attempted to keep British soldiers from securing hay for horses and livestock, in addition to other provisions. Although it consisted of small battles and skirmishes, casualties could still be high. In one engagement, a large detachment made up of three regiments of British regulars and one battalion each of light infantry and grenadiers, clashed with an even larger American force resulting in almost 70 British soldiers killed and wounded.

Exactly. I believe Coach K had wonderful things to say about Anthony Solomon's coaching abilities after Bona hired him.
Hard to believe anything anyone says about a guy who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in rhetoric and communication studies. I wouldn’t even interview Solomon based on that alone.
