And since UVM is opening at Syracuse, I'm going to shamelessly use this opportunity to recommend Cam MacAulay's series on the history of Cuse lax. It's done in the style of Jon Bois's Dorktown series, and it's one of my favorite pieces of content on the internet and is worth checking out. Do bear in mind though that the series is like six hours long lol

I think the gist of this whole "discussion" is that we're all very impressed with what Robin has done this season. In addition to everything else, his leadership has been invaluable. I guess it's fun or interesting to make comparisons between players of two different eras when there's a hole in the scedule, but I'm not sure how productive it is.

Thanks for sharing this. Can't believe some teams are practicing outside. Wild. No idea why I did it in college, it is cold AF

Merrimack 10-7 over CAA foe Hofstra
Syracuse 7-5 over Vermont

Happy for Merrimack to get their first win as an AE team, especially over a CAA team.. I still have a gut feeling they will push for AE membership in the next 5 years. As others have mentioned, they are simply lacking in facilities.. happy to have them in the lax league however

Albany plays at Syracuse on 2/10
Vermont hosts BU 2/11
Binghamton visits Marist 2/11
Umass Lowell visits Quinnipiac 2/11

Hope the conference performs well this weekend!

Not a terrible first game out by UVM; Syracuse won't score under 10 most games this season. Plus, Spallina.

Tough sched to start the season for UVM. 'Cuse/BU/Harvard/Brown...

Alright to update standings

So we are 9-9 overall OOC. Some really close losses last weekend

Overall the conference isn't doing to bad IMHO.
We are
0-2 vs ACC
1-0 vs PAC12
2-0 vs CAA
0-2 vs IVY
1-1 vs A10
1-0 vs BigEast
2-3 vs MAAC
2-1 vs PL
I'm assuming that "1-0 vs PAC12" is referencing UVM's win over Utah this past weekend. The Pac-12 actually doesn't sponsor Men's Lax. The Utes play as a member of...wait for it...the ASUN! You know, with like-situated schools like Jacksonville...Mercer...Robert Morris...Cleveland State...Lindenwood...

It's some league. Associate members be associatin'.

They should have done like PAC field hockey schools do and joined AE Lacrosse only.
