5-4 gets you 50, 7-2 gets you franchise high of 52

both are now possible.

Philly will be playing for their playoff lives next week. Of the next nine, only four will be against teams without a chance for the playoffs or a chance to move up: two vs. Boston, one each vs. Knicks and Bobcats.

i think of the remaining 9 games @ the bucks will be our toughest challenge!!! Cavs @nets will be a walk in the park were to dominate at home we would have won by 30 today had VC started first 5 min of the 4rth!!!
I think Cavs will be tough. They are streaking just like us and they have almost the exact same record. They are our true rivals, we need to beat them, like we got them out of the playoffs last year! I think the Nets should ride their momentum as much as possible, but not until the starters are out of gas. And Cliffy and Collins need more rest cuz there gunna be doing a lot of bruising in the playoffs, especially in a series vs. SHAQ.
How can they be our true rivals when we kick the **** out of them every time?

I think the Bulls will steal that final spot from under Philly's noses.

i just mean rivals as in record-wise
9-0 Gets you 54, the best Nets franchise record.
9-0 sounds best. I'd even settle for 8-1.

It would also tie us with the longest win streak in NBA history. 9-0 is a high reach.
Kidd was right when he said 50 wins might be "a little too low"!

The longest winning streak in NBA history is 33 games.
We'll lose to the Bucks. I just have a feeling.

The Chamberlain/West/Baylor Lakers! That team was awesome.

I could have sworn the Nets had a high 50 win season in one of their finals runs....guess I was wrong.

I said high 50's, meaning 57+
IMO itd be a disapointment to not go undefeated the rest of the way. =]
I'd like to see 50 wins. But anything above that is gravy. Personally I'd like to see the starters rest a little more now that they've won the Atlantic & the playoffs are a sure thing. This way, they'll be fresher for the 2nd season.

That record will never be broken. Ever. Along w/ Oscar Robertson averaging a triple double for a whole season.

I'll be very surprised if I see those broken in my lifetime.
