Three worst teams last season:
1. Nuggets: 27 games better (projected)
2. Griz: 26 games better (projected)
3. Cavs: 13 games better (projected)

That is so called 'team success". The new players make their teams better this season.

Robinson's first year in SA- +35
Bird's first year in Boston- +32
Kareem's first year in Milwaukee- +29

Don't know for sure these are the top 3 but they're the first ones I thought of.

Who did the Grizzlies get?

They basically have the same team, except for Bonzi Wells.

Wells, Posey, Outlaw and Tsakalidas. They also got Jones and Bell in the draft, but they don't play much.

Just some nice starters/role-players.

I don't really follow Memphis but after a quick look at some stats it seems that the play of Williams & Watson at the point should be considered a key reason for their improvement (a combined 12 assists to 3.7 turnovers).
I'll get a look at them tonight when they host Milwaukee.

skewed because robinson came back from injury that year as well..he was injured much of the year before which is the only reason they got duncan....with him AND robinson is how they improved 36 games

Ah, mostly Posey and Wells. Tsakalidas used to start, now he like never plays. Outlaw plays a few off the bench too.

But compared to the Nuggets/Cavs, not as drastic changes.

James Posey, who in my opinion, has been the MVP of the Grizz this year. He's been playing amazing the past two weeks; he's rounding into quite a player.

I think Orlando had a pretty big turnaround as well after getting Shaq.

Yeah, they improved 20 games. I mean they still had to win the lotto.... :upset:

But how about a year with as many surprising good teams? I mean the league is always .500, but teams that went from 10+ under .500 to 10+ over. Together.

P.S. James Posey set the record for GP last year with 83.
