I know we played some terrible teams, but after playing KU, Syracuse and Duke, there's no way our OOC RPI is that bad.

I'm not sure where A10BBALL is getting the numbers - maybe they are PRI and not RPI - because they are not particularly close (SOS and NCRPI) to what realtimerpi.com has or to what rpiforecast.com has.

He's getting them from ESPN.

It does indeed stand for non-conference RPI...but I have some serious doubts that it's right. How does beating Fordham/Duquesne and losing to SLU put UMass up at 47 overall if our non-conference RPI ranks 111?

My bet is that ESPN is not properly identifying home and away games or is using the old RPI. Those numbers are not correct or else everyone else calculating RPI is wrong.
