I was hoping that Tamar Slay would pick up the offensive pace, and be the go-to-guy now that Jefferson wasn't going to play in the summer league... but he only took 7 shots.

He finished with 6 points on 3-7 shooting, but 7 rebounds and a very impressive 7 steals in 28 minutes.

Armstrong went 3-11.

Collins didn't do that much again. 10 points and 6 rebounds in 33 minutes. Not bad, but I expected much better from him.

Tamar Slay is the real deal.

His decreased scoring on less shot attempts can be taken as a GOOD sign, as he buckled down on defense.

I'm a huge Tamar Slay fan. I think he can rise to the top 50 players in the NBA someday and be the future SG of the Nets.
