I would certainly take it at this point. They certainly underperformed during the season, but ironically, they were pre-season picked to finish 2nd in the A-10, and that’s where they finished. That shows us how weak the A-10 was this year. I wonder where SIU-Edwardsville would have finished if they were in the A-10?

So like the women they would underperform during the regular season and back in with a tournament run.
Actually, I should have said that the women didn’t underperform during the regular season. They were pre-season picked to finish 12th in the A-10, and finished 3rd. I wonder if the A-10 women’s teams finished higher or lower than the 13th place conference finish of the men’s teams?

From an outside perspective, Ford’s seat has to be engulfed in flames.

Also, if anyone just saw Jerry Palm’s suit, oh my God. He had to have purchased that in 2002. How is CBS allowing that on the air?
On the contrary Community Bank. Billikens Athletic Director Chris May the other day said Travis will be our coach for a long time to come. Heck, after returning the Arch Baron Cup to St. Louis, he probably got a contract extension and a raise.

disappointed in the outcome but man that was fun being with 6000 fans trying to pull the team across the line. Great season where I got to see a game at VCU, meet the Alien, finish tied for second, own the Barclays for two days, make the semis, and have a second half lead before getting beat by two guys who have a shot at the NBA. Best season since when I was student because the Fordham community showed up in numbers creating an electric atmosphere.
Is the momentum there for them to sell out Rose Hill next year?

Congrats to the Rams of Richmond who were able to dominate a weak conference and take both the regular season and tournament titles. Too bad Ace wasn’t healthy all season. If he was, they would have been able to pick up some of the non con losses and maybe would have been able to get a decent seeding at the Big Dance. Whatever the seeding, I hope they get to at least the Sweet 16. GO RAMS!

I think it depends. Do we continue to win? This year was the result of the team winning conference games. Notice I focused on conference games. If we want that energy OOC we need to play better teams. So I think the answer is yes with some questions. I think there will certainly be more season tickets sold.

I wonder if our Attendance will get us invited by Barclays to one of the preseason events. Put us against a good team and we will show up.
I think it would be a good move on Barclay’s part to do so, based on your numbers at the tournament.

Crazy that two former VCU coaches were their conference's COY. Smart and Capel. Actually, four if you count assistants. Mike Jones and Mike Morell were also named COY.
If it does happen you gotta make a good hire and keep on keeping on.
You guys seem pretty good at doing that without skipping a beat. The Billikens? Not so much. VCU to Albany. Interesting.

I guess this where we depart in terms of my giving a shit- I feel NOTHING for the AAC. I view the AAC as an empty, hollow, football glory chasing shitheap who tried desperately to get in with the P5, and failed. P5 or not, the top half of that league is cut from the same money grubbing cloth and are every bit as bad.

ETA: I just recalled this is the same conference who operated under the slogan of 'the other power conference'. Yeah, sorry. Agree to disagree on this one, BR. I would be thrilled to see the AAC lose money through a loss to FAU.
Wow. You’re charged up this morning. Does this have anything to do with what the market is doing to community banks and banks in general?
