If Marcus isn't a lottery pick, then there will be a lot of teams kicking themselves in the next few years.

I think drafting a PF and a PG is important for the Nets. How long can they expect Vaughn to be their primary backup PG? Someone like Udrih would be nice off the bench.

Lets hope that by season's end that "someone like Udrih" is named Planinic.

Zoran IMO seems more a ball-handling SG/SF than a scoring PG. I would like the Nets to pick up a quick defensive-minded PG who can spell Kidd for 12-14 minutes. The bench could look like:

I'm praying for Rajon Rondo, although the Nets would almost certainly have to move up to get him. He's exactly what this team needs defensively. I don't know when a point guard with his combination of defensive instincts, length, hands, athleticism, and just SPECTACTULAR feet last came out. Within two years in the league, Rajon will be making all defensive teams (if he lands on the right team).

Offensively, his quickness (easily the quickest player in all of college basketball) and ball-handling are top-notch as well. If his jumper wasn't just average (not bad, just inconsistent), he'd be a top five pick.

Marcus Williams would be a steal for us

i dont think its realistic to get him with a 25th pick tho.. his draft stock is defenitly rising IMO

With Rondo though, the kid can pass and rebound...long and lanky as well...

I'm not for the stealing-laptops, smiling-like-a-little-*****, faking-injuries type of player. The current group of Nets all seem to be nice people. I think Thorn and Stefanski look for that in their players. Williams is not one of those players.
