Wow. The loser of the Vermont/UMBC game will have a pretty deep hole to climb out of with very few options of teams capable of beating Stony Brook to bring them back to the pack. I guess this is more thinking if Vermont were to somehow start the league action 0-2. Course, then again, I didn't expect UMBC to lose to both Bing and Lowell to start the year either.

I wonder how long it will take for refs to catch on to the fact that Dan Akin leads the America East in flops per game? He's a shoe in for the Luke Apfeld award.

Ehhh, ok. Kind of good that UMBC can’t shoot. We had some good stretches but some bad ones, including the last 3 minutes, which were brutal. Lamb not on his game so far.

LOTS of turnovers. Decent defense. Offense.....some good possessions and some really terrible ones.

Rebounding was good overall for the half until the last 4 minutes or so.

Team needs to keep getting the ball inside either by penetration (under control)or getting post touches. The team seemed to be moving themselves pretty well for the most part and not stagnating around the 3 pt line. Yes they made some 3's, but their only 4-15 for the game so far.
