  • Maine

    (11-16, 5-9 Am. East)

  • Binghamton

    (12-15, 8-6 Am. East)

  • Previous meeting was a 78-57 home win for Maine

  • For Maine it's a chance to build some momentum heading into the playoffs and a chance to stay ahead of NJOT for seeding. For Binghamton it is must win time if they want to claim a home playoff game. They can't afford to be dropping games to the bottom half of the conference.

  • Vermont

    (18-10, 12-2 Am. East)

  • Bryant

    (17-10, 8-6 Am. East)

  • Previous meeting was a UVM home win 74-64

  • For Bryant it's a shot at some redemption after a hideous turnover filled performance on national TV. Obviously there are plenty of seeding implications for the Bulldogs as well since they can finish anywhere from 2nd to 6th depending on how the tiebreaks fall. For Vermont there are no seeding implications. There is the benefit of tweaking Jared Grasso's nose one more time. I expect Vermont to come out and half ass it since that's what they've done the last two games and now with the one seed locked up, they'll probably lose by double digits.

  • New Hampshire

    (13-13, 8-6 Am. East)

  • UMass Lowell

    (23-7, 10-5 Am. East)

  • Previous meeting was a UNH home win 69-65

  • For UML it's the final day of the regular season, senior day, and a chance to lock up the 2 seed and 2 playoff home games. For UNH it's a chance to grab ahold of a home playoff game with both hands. A win here will almost certainly give them the edge in any tiebreak scenario.

  • NJIT

    (7-20, 4-10 Am. East)

  • Albany

    (7-22, 2-12 Am. East)

  • Previous meeting was a NJOT home win 74-67

  • Awww Yesssss...And the primetime game is AE Playoffception. The Playoff game to get a Playoff game. How could this get any more high stakes. For Albany it's win or your fat lady has sung. For NJOT it's win and your in with the possibility of passing Maine in the seeding and avoiding that long trip to Burlington.

Interesting attendance figure for the UNH/Loweell game at Tsongas.....4,114! They need to get games out of Costello.

Boy what a pickle. Do we want to get demolished by Bryant in the first round or Vermont in the second?

I think as a UNH fan the outcomes I prefer are:

UMBC/Bry/UNH Bryant UNH UMBC Bing Maine [UNH hosts in the first round and it's not Bryant] or maybe
UMBC/Maine/NJIT UMBC Bing Bryant UNH Maine [UNH travels but at least they've beaten UMBC once].

Nothing too desirable in that window. Bing winning basically guarantees we get Bryant, so no thanks man. Go UMBC.

FYI, game was at Tsongas.
For UNH it's simple beat NJIT and loss by either Bing or Bryant and you get a home game. If UNH wins and both Bryant and Bing lose UNH is the 3rd seed and avoids UVM in the semi's if there fortunate enough to win in the quarters. If everyone wins UNH is going on the road as they lose the tie breakers with both Bing and Bryant.

Yeah…I know. The game drew a ton more fans than their games at Costello.

Good for Lowell for wrapping up the 2-seed. At the midway point I wasn't sure they were going to be able to hang on. They were 5-3, 1 game up on Bryant and UMBC. But their 2nd Half schedule looked tougher than their 1st Half (and the opposite for Bryant/UMBC). But they actually improved, going 6-2 on the back end. Good work out of Duquette and crew.

With one game to go for everyone else, here's the 1st Half/2nd Half splits. The first four teams I thought at the midway point had an easier break in the 2nd Half of conference play, the other five are teams whose roads I thought got tougher (even if only marginally, in either direction)...

Bryant: 4-4 / 4-3
Maine: 3-5 / 3-4
UMBC: 4-4 / 3-4
Vermont: 6-2 / 7-0

Albany: 1-7 / 2-5
Binghamton: 5-3 / 3-4
Lowell: 5-3 / 6-2
UNH: 5-3 / 3-4
NJIT: 3-5 / 1-6

Hoping they can get a similar crowd for Tuesday’s big game!

Was at the bing/maine game..great game but the conference really needs to look at the officiating on these games.
That was one of the worse called games ive ever been to...The refs definately made a difference in this game...my brother was with me and he was a ref for many years in STAC and could not believe these calls and not calls..how does a player get hit so hard in the face to the point that hes bleeding from his nose and nothing is called?..Its A Shame That Sports Has Come To This...Its Getting Out Of Control.....
You must be new to this league.
He'll also have to get used to refs switching styles at halftime - eg last night called ten fouls in the first half of Albany/NJIT, twenty-four in the second half.

Second Half AE Refs. A tradition unlike any other.
Imagine if Albany won the AE Championship, after the season they had, that would be fun.
Yeah, fun having the whole country see us in Dayton with a record of 12-22
Would be pretty damn funny. Even if they pull off the impossible and make it into the playoffs, beating UVM twice in a row in a week at Patrick is probablyno.
Why impossible? Don't you know how hard it is to beat a team fourteen out of fifteen times?
