I would love to see UNH have both softball and baseball
One of my saddest days on visits to UNH over the years was the first time seeing the infield dirt on Brackett Field replaced with grass!! I stopped dead in my tracks, stunned, when I saw that!

JMHO, but funding for the football enhancement would be given a boost if baseball and softball were added. There is negative fallout from the elimination of baseball that has never really been resolved.

FWIW, I'd much rather have baseball and lacrosse than tennis, soccer, swimming, cross country, track & field, etc., but that's just me. I wish one sport didn't have to be played at the expense of another, but that's reality at this level.
BU won finish of postponed game, vermont won the 2nd(3rd of the weekend) 5-4 in 8inn. for those of you who don't know, BU is down to 1 pitcher, Cassidi Hardy, a Freshman, no less, with an emergency reliever after our other starter who had been splitting games with the Hardy rolled her ankle on a ball during a game, is now on crutches and is out idk how long... so Hardy pitched three complete games this weekend, a game and a half per day.
UNH should have baseball and softball......period!

If BU is down to 1 pitcher then they are very fortunate to take 2 out of 3 from Vermont.......the Catamount program has really improved alot!

UMBC 2-1, 30-9
Maine 2-1, 20-12

probably true. not trying to make excuses, UVM played a much better third game than BU, but Hardy was ridiculously tired. UVM's pitching in the third game was amazing. perfect pitches when they needed them. put the two together....
