4 games on tap today for the women:

1 pm
NJIT @ Central Conn
Fisher College @ UNH (ESPN3)
UMaine @ Boston Univ (ESPN+)

2 pm
UMBC @ Richmond (ESPN+)

I'm going with a 3-1 prediction. Maine & UNH will win and then either NJIT or UMBC will get a win on the road.

I appreciate these threads devoted to AE women's hoops. While they won't get the attention of any men's thread (even a non-UVM men's thread!), I'll admit in my advancing age and making a concerted effort to attend some AE women's games the last few years I enjoy these games very much. Maybe, too, increasingly more than many of the men's games I see.

If men's games are beginning to feel too fast, too sloppy, too much emphasis on iso ball and rare highlight plays...if you miss a good bounce pass, motion offense, or midrange jumper using the backboard, go check out your local women's game.

Thanks for posting those. Unfortunately, UMBC would lose at Richmond, 76-64, but still a good day for the women, winning a couple of tight games vs other mid-majors.
