Seriously. He's the Tigers' closer. If he's fully healthy - the only way he isn't is if Jim Leyland gets smart and keeps him available for any and all high leverage situations. Which would be a stroke of brilliance the likes of which we never see from Leyland with regards to pen management.

I will admit the guy has one flaw: odds are his elbow will one day explode. Seriously. Blood everywhere. Right on the middle of the field. The twisting force sending visceral gore spattering across Cabrera at 3B. Yep. But other than the risk that his elbow falls into shreds of flesh - he's without a doubt Detroit's best relief pitcher, and it isn't really close.
