The Texas Longhorns will reportedly be without one of their leading scorers next season.

LaMarcus Aldridge, whose sophomore season ended with a disappointing performance in Texas' overtime loss to LSU in the NCAA Tournament's Elite Eight, has told teammates and the Longhorns coaching staff he will enter the NBA draft, three sources told The Dallas Morning News.

No suprise there. Tucker and Gibson are also looking into things. I expect Tucker to leave, I have no idea about Gibson; he isn't that good.

Smart move on Aldridge's part. He's looking into agents now, so he should make it 100% official in the next week or so with the signing of an agent.

Gibson will probably be back, or so I believe after reading reports from his father. He's not getting good word about his stock, and Byron Gibson said he's pretty sure he'll be back. He also claimed Tucker would most likely be back and Aldridge is gone. All supposedly from younger Gibson's mouth.

Aldridge has a promising future. If only he starts to be more assertive and not just take what the defense gives him and shoot a fadeaway jumper.
