Time to make your picks, fellow posters.

All-Rookie 1st Team

G Chris Paul
G Raymond Felton
F Charlie Villanueva
F/C Channing Frye
C Andrew Bogut

Not too hard, people may argue though that Deron Williams deserves the 1st team spot over Bogut. I picked Bogut though because of better overall statistics and team record.

Second team is where it gets a little more difficult, with only D.Williams a surelock (and maybe Granger).

All-Rookie 2nd Team

G Salim Stoudamire/Nate Robinson
G Deron Williams
G Luther Head/Sarunas Jasikevicious
F Danny Granger
F Marvin Williams/Ryan Gomes

My first listed names are my primary picks though.

first team looks spot on :greatjob:
i agree thats how the first team will look.

2nd team IMO

G: Deron Williams
G: Luther Head
F: Marvin Williams or Nate Robinson
F: Danny Granger
F: Ryan Gomes

i dont think salim will make it even tho he deserves too cos of discipline issues and current injury (or maybe he disabled i dunno). Saras wont make it coz he in the dog house in indy for too long

"F: Nate Robinson"
lol, typo maybe.. but looked funny none the less
You might have added Gerald Green in there if only he had minutes this year.
I would agree except that I would put Danny Granger on the first team instead of Bogut. You can't really tell how good he's been by his numbers, but I think Lebron James could tell you how good a defender he is.He didn't get the minutes early, but after the Artest thing he stepped into the lineup and really did all the things that don't show up on a stat line.

I really love the way he moves his feet on defense. You'd think that this wouldn't stand out so much, but most of the young players in the NBA just don't understand the proper way to stay in front of their man.
position doesnt matter for rookie 1st/second team
Gerald Green?

Yes.

2nd team should be...

Deron Williams
Nate Robinson
Luther Head
Danny Granger
Ryan Gomes
I think that Felton and Granger should both be 1st team selections along with Frye, Villanueva and Paul.

Why should he be on the rookie team? He hasn't done anything to even be mentioned for it. He had a 17 point game and a few highlights, thats about it.

That's exactly why not one person suggested he should be on it. Please read more carefully folks.

I know, I just felt like listing their positions.

And Gerald Green making any of the teams would be an outrage.

Um..look at TAllen42's post. I think you should be the one reading more carefully.

I assumed he was questioning CanteriWalker's post. That's likely why there's a question mark following Gerald's name in TAllen42's post. Maybe TAllen42 needs to clarify.

Maybe none of us need to read more carefully. Maybe some members just need to be more clear on what they're trying to say or suggest.
