I agree with these rankings. However, I believe the breakthrough play of Amare was key in the acceptance of LeBron as a credible player outta HS. Who woulda believed if Amare hadn't set the example?Originally posted by The OUTLAW!
Amare played on a much better team than Lebron.Originally posted by RebelSun!
1.) LeBron - unbeliebable play from HS guard
2.) Carmelo - played awesome as well as a rookie
3.) Amare - had the best out-of-HS rookie year ever...until this year.
Your comments about Camby is ridiculous.Originally posted by John The Cool Kid!
I dont think Miller, Camby, or any of the guys you listed are as good as Carmelo. Andre Miller is the only one thats debatable really. Miller is a good passer, but hes no Jkidd. Infact he averages 3 less assists a game, which is about the same difference between Miller and Melos assists numbers. Camby is nowhere near Wallace, he barely averages 10 rebounds a game(actually he doesnt, hes at 9.9)
Exactly... BigAmare will defend any Suns player to the nth degree without logic for the most part. Most people will have Amare at 3rd without a doubt and for good reason. BigAmare came on the Portland board and said Z-Bo did not deserve an all-star nod even though he gets 21 and 11 each night. Zach had good numbers this year but there are a lot of very good players in the west. But Marion and Amare are better players than Zach no matter what according to the BigAmare. Is this guy a hoot or joke or what?Originally posted by John The Cool Kid!
If the case is closed, its for the opposite of what you think. Its no coincedence that every single person who voted in this thread has Amare at 3rd.
