Great news for the suns obviously to have him back..
but the best part of it is that they get him back well before playoff time to get his fitness and gameplay back up to scratch before the playoffs start which is when they really do need that big man.
they will be one of the top contendors for the title this season, but i still think they just fall short
It will be like when the kings got webber back imo...But looking at the overall chemistry the Suns do have (always looking for the open man), they also might be able to pull off fitting amare in...ahhh I don't know, it's all speculation at this point. The Suns, are doing great right now. Amare should just wait 'til playoff time then dominate.
Except that Chris Webber was an old disgruntled big man who cared more about soulfood than anything else..

If Suns and Nash keeps Diaw using effectively with the return of Amare, who I believe will be in good shape in play offs, they will reach west finals easily. Book this.
They'll be in the Finals if Duncan continues to nurse a bad foot. If Duncan is realtively healthy, even with Amare back they'll come up short in the WCF again.
I choose different, but equal to right now. For one the Suns are playing pretty damn well right now, secondly I have doubts about Amare coming in after missing the entire season and being able to get in synch with the team. But I don't see him pulling the team down either, so that's why I choose equal.

I'm pessimistic, but I still hope Amare comes alive in the playoffs and shows some more of those amazing skills we saw in last year's WCF.
I don't think Amare can return to that level he reached against the Spurs in last year's Western Conference Finals b/c that Amare was just monstrous. He will be OK in his 1st week back & he will get closer to prime shape every game. The Suns will definitely be a better team & can make the WCF again.

Would you change your name if Chairman tipped over?
rofl @ carrrnuttt ... I chose them to be favorites big time... I mean Amare gives them what they lack: an inside presence to go to when the game is winding down.
