Someone know more about Loren Woods ?

I heard we should bee interestet. The only thing i know about him is that he's still very young .

Should we give him a chance if minnesota wouldn't match our offer ?

I would not mind picking up Loren Woods. He never fully got the chance with Minnesota even though he has great skills (probably needed more bulk to play in the West, but in the East he could do well).

Analysis:

1. Great passing big man
2. Runs the floor very well and can finish the break skillfully.
3. Can put the ball on the floor and has a very good perimeter shot.

Out of college, he was said to be the new prototype for Center:

1. More mobile
2. Less bulky
3. Possessing decent ballhandling abilities
4. Runs the floor swiftly and comes out to defend his man wherever he may be
5. Rebounds and quickly triggers the fast break

With Riley implementing an up-tempo game plan, Woods may be the perfect young Center. Therefore, I would sign him.

I don't know how he did in Minnesota, but the questions when Woods came out of college were his inconsistency and injuries. His legs are a lot thinner than other skinny centers, which caused him to be more injury prone. He certainly has skills, but he failed to show it in Minnesota. The interesting thing is he was considered by some that he will start immediately for many NBA teams until the draft night!
