He probably didn't like him because of the bad rep vince had gotten around the league prior to becoming a net. Good article, it's a shame some nets fans don't appreciate vince as much as his teammates do (if you feel the need to respond to this statement you're obviously one of the fans i'm speaking of)

Vince is an awesome person and very talented. I don't think that article is saying anything nobody dosen't already know. His personality is on display every night he plays and in every interview.

Well,i think he did.Back in the 03' or 04' season he was guarding Vince in one play,someone of the RAPTORS shoot the ball and misses and Zoran make the mistake of giving his back to Vince,and the next thing you know is,there is Vince Carter flying,and the nice one arm putback.

Zoran facial expresion was priceless,all the NETS guys looking at each other like WTF.

If somebody got the video please upload it.is a nice putback.

unselfish yes how many shots did he take in the all star game 4!! and 3 of the shots were dunks or dunk attempts ))))) i remember all the flack about the all star game in MJ's last appearance and there was tracy trying to steal the show!! and vince again took 3 shots that game!! well 5 if u include overtime!!

but if u wanna compare RJ to vince in terms of selfishness, unselfeshness RJ makes VC look like MJ and kobe!!!

Vince is a great guy...it makes it that much easier and more fun to root for him...Go Nets!!

Sweeeeeeeet, but his true fans know that already.

Saying "VC is a nice guy" is pointless b/c most people would know that about him already. Anyone who watches any of his games would know. He jokes around w/ teammates & opposing players all the time. I take pride in calling him my fave player. His personality is just a fraction of why I like him so much.
