The Toronto Raptors

----------

-Extra brownie points goes out to Lil' Nate Robinson for his buzzer-beating, game-winning, fade-away(ing) 3 pointer. It's a shame Nate didn't run to the locker room immediately after the shot went in, like what happened in the 2003 Western Semi-Finals with Derek Fisher. Besides Nate, Channing Frye was also impressive with a 20/10 performance for his first start in the NBA. It's even more astonishing when you add the fact that alot of people had such low expectations from Frye before the 2005 draft.

-Would David West be this good if it wasn't for Chris Paul? Scratch that, would the Hornets be as good as they are now if it wasn't for Chris Paul? Note to the Raptors for David West's post-game quote:
As long as we're not settling for jump shots, we're going to put pressure on teams.
-Talk about the vet schooling the rook, Mourning topping off Howard's 16 rebound performance with his own 21. In the end, it's all about the wins though so :p to Mourning.

-One man can only do so much, but when Hughes/Ilgauaskas/Marshall/Jones go 5/41 from the field, Lebron may need to score 50 points to come out with a win.

-Since when did Gerald Wallace become AK47 part duex? Since he's been back not ony has he been filling up the stat sheet, but the Bobcats have won 2 of their past 3 games. Of course you would expect the Wizards to come out short though, after spending 2 OT's with the Pistons the night before, in which both Jamison and Arenas played 50+ minutes...

-Yao Ming doing his best TMac impression with a 30 point performance, while Juwan Howard came up short on trying to do his Yao Ming impression with a measly 10 points on horrible shooting. After having good performances the past two games and only coming up short, Houston needed more (from) Head :D .

-After Gasol's monter night against Dallas, Irk Nowitzki had this to say:
(Gasol) is a good player but he's not that good. We should have had an answer for him.
Maybe someone should tell him that Pau Gasol was his assignment.

-Just another usual game for the Pistons, shutting down there opponents with relative ease. And by the looks of it, the Pistons don't look half as tired as the Wizards, both of whom shared a double overtime game the night before.
