-Good effort for the Raps, but who would've known that AI part deux could go off for 6 three pointers? Add to that and Bosh missing some key mid range shots at the end of the game and it's a tough game to slip by for the Sixers. Atlanta and Toronto continue to remain winless this season.

-Collison as the starting power forward may be what Bob Weiss needed to secure his job as the current Sonics head coach. Add to that and Lewis playing great since the Raptor game last week. What does that tell you? If you're in a shooting slump, playing the raptors will make it go away...

-Aren't the Pacers supposed to be one of the best defensive teams with Artest coming back? Then how could they let the Bobcats go for 122 points? (Yes, the Bobcats. No Typo and I double checked to be sure). Sean May continues to be impressive in limited minutes as well.

-I'm not so surprised with Camby getting 15 boards en route to a Nuggets win. In fact, with Martin and Nene out, he should be grabbing 20 rebounds a game. ;) Mason on the other hand...If you think Rose is mailing it in, then Mason has definitely checked out for his team.

-Mike Miller as the starting small forward, Battier as the starting power forward and Pau Gasol as the starting center...I don't know if Fratello made this lineup to better match a small Phoenix team but I'm hoping he sticks with this for a while. Barbosa seems to have found his niche as a shooting guard rather than a point guard.

-Kobe Bryant scores 42 points, Lakers win. No surprises there. And I think the Lakers are undefeated when Kobe goes off for 35+. But I know Phil knows that he can't rely on Kobe to go off for 35+ every night. Kwame on the other hand is just down right terrible...TERRIBLE. As for the Knicks, Frye and Lee continues to impress as well. Could it be the Antonio Davis factor? :p One thing I do know is that a front court rotation of Curry, Frye and Lee is looking pretty good for the Knicks' future.

-This is probably the fifth time in seven games that Sweetney totally outplays Songaila. What I'm wondering is why doesn't Skiles just bite the bullet and start the fatman alongside stickboy Chandler. Despite his height and athleticism, chances are Chandler is being pushed around out there and needs some width to help space things out. Chris Duhon on the other hand thinks he's a scoring point guard. Speaking of those deserving starts, Jarrett Jack should get the nod over Monia.

-I don't know if there's anyone on the Bucks that benefits more on Ford's presence than Michael Redd, seeing as how he's coming on to be one of the league's premier scorers. Meanwhile, Stotts has given up a little early on the Bogut/Magloire front court experiment giving Joe Smith the nod...or maybe his plan was to slowly bring Smith from the get-go.

Every team slips it up once in awhile - arguably even the good ones. Carlisle and his troops will bounce back.

Forced to do it with Lo Wright sitting out the game, but it's a line up that's working. Miller's production off the bench is nowhere near what he's producing when given a starting gig.

Plan was always for Joe to start down the track, with Bogey coming off the bench.
