Bob Cousy Award Preseason Watch List for 2015 released

The Bob Cousy Award is given out annually to the top point guard in the country. Players such as Trey Burke, Kemba Walker and Ty Lawson have won the award in the past, and Shabazz Napier was the 2014 recipient of the award.

Today, the Watch List for the 2015 Cousy Award was released, replete with 50 names from Division I basketball that have been compiled by media members. Some of the more interesting names include North Carolina's Marcus Paige, Wichita State's Fred VanVleet, Utah's Delon Wright and West Virginia's Juwan Staten. Freshmen such as Duke's Tyus Jones and Kentucky's Tyler Ulis are also on the list.

One hell of a packed house at Chaifetz.
What was the attendance?

Has anyone had their exhibition yet? How did the 30 second clock affect the game? No real change or scattered half court sets?

Atlantic 10 will use 30-second shot clock in exhibition games

The Atlantic 10 has become the latest league to experiment with the use of a 30-second shot clock as the league announced in an official release that they’ll try the new clock in exhibition games this season.

The NCAA has allowed permission to the league to use the new shot clock, in exchange, the Atlantic 10 membership will provide feedback and data for the NCAA. The NCAA is looking into changing the shot clock into 30 seconds in the next few seasons.

The ACC will experiment with a 30-second shot clock as well and the SEC has polled head coaches, many of which are in favor of it.

A 30-second shot clock would change college basketball a little bit, but would you be for or against this move in the grand scheme of things? Is the 30-second clock a good or a bad thing from the current 35-second clock?

SJU won't be having one, that I know.

Idk I didn't really get to watch the SLU game as I had to head out, but attendance was weak. But it was an exhibition, after all.

SJU has an intrasquad scrimmage tonight, but unfortunately I will need to work.

Administrators in Olean are afraid that the fans won't manage their alcohol consumption, and fall down the Himalayan Mountains.
Shipment of Life Alerts on the way. Nothing should impede the consumption of fine spirits (and not so fine spirits as well).
