This is a cool feature story if you want to take time to watch. Gilmore to VCU to Miami to FGCU and back to VCU is interesting. The best part is that Gilmore just wants to help and does not gripe about getting more minutes.

NET Update after Sunday's games:

59 VCU
63 Dayton
69 SLU
80 Davidson

122 Rhode Island
129 Saint Joseph's
132 Duq
145 UMass
188 George Mason
191 Fordham

209 Richmond
253 SBU

316 George Washington
339 La Salle

Obviously VCU was the big NET winner just by playing and losing on the road to VA (and probably helped by a Texas win).

The big drop was Davidson who fell 8 spots without even playing.

I have no clue what these NET numbers mean in the grand scheme of things yet but I would say they at least have the Top 4 bunched together correctly (in no particular order) from what we have seen so far in OOC. And the rest are grouped properly also with the outlier being SBU who might be better then what they have shown so far with injury issues.

At this point nothing would surprise me. Gun to my head I am picking Davidson but there are probably 5 teams that could win in Brooklyn.
Ya, league is WIDE open at this point...VCU, Dayton, SLU, Davidson, Duq all could compete for the Auto bid. And there might be a surprise team or two also.

St Joe's has a good team that has played bad on D. I would drop Duquesne and add Rhody to to that list.

Some teams have a chance at improving on those with the last game before conference play...

Davidson certainly has the best team to go play and try to upset, but Duquesne has an 11-2 NJIT to take on (not the toughest of schedules, but they certainly won their games). Mason and the Bonnies will have their hands full but also have a chance to knock off a big name.

It looks like Phil is in good soldier routine, playing up the MWC challenge even though he/Jill voted against it.

But I think I agree with him. We all basically scheduled right. We didn't win right.

Could not read much but agree and thinking perhaps we should be listing all the coaches, years at the institution and future outlook.

Another words, hoping the list will show we can see the light at the end of the tunnel and it's just a bad combination of factors that we sucked this year.

UMass - McCall second year and lots of new players - rebuilding with some disappointing efforts and something that happened at his last gig. Hoping for improvement but need to see it. Show me!
