Baby Blazer most likely to grow into a star?

Simple question...we have all these "Blazer Babies" (no I am not talking about Miles  ) Who of our young guys do you think is the most likely to develop into a star in the NBA. If any...

Telfair, Jack, Blake (semi young), Outlaw, Khryapa, HA, Webster, none of them?

With all the talk about "developing" young talent I am curious as to whom everyone thinks will actually breakout and attain that "star" status.

I voted for Outlaw myself...is developing a sweet jumper, can jump out of the gym and get to the rim with ease, plays solid defense when focused, is long and athletic. Simply needs more expierience and a better understanding of the game which will come with time and coaching.
Webster's doing a great job on both ends of the floor considering he's only 18-19. He's definitely no Lebron, but I reallly like what I see from him.
I voted Telfair simply because he has the other side of being a star.

Flamboyant on the court
Charismatic smile
Media and fan friendly

I think he has a chance to be a second tier NBA star because he has those attributes
I have to go with Webster because the others have shown me that their chances are slim. Great players, but not the star.
Web still hasn't been given the minutes to prove himself.
If he got the opportunity that Outlaw got last year, he would be progressing much faster.

Telfair--I think he can become an all-star or borderline all-star once he is surrounded by good players. He can penetrate at will, but right now it either results in errant shots or kick outs toward the 3 point line. His penetration was a lot more effective last year, in my opinion, when he played with vets who could put themselves in good position and play off his drives.

Outlaw--I think he'll be a career starter or 6th man just based on his athleticism and good shooting touch. Most all-stars or elite players have some sort of killer instinct or chip on their shoulder to motivate them to raise their game. I think it's an innate quality and not something you acquire over time.

Ha--Doesn't his family have health issues? I thought I remember reading something about that last year. By the time he starts to find his niche, he might start developing an injury bug that will cut short his career. So, not likely in my opinion.

Blake--See Outlaw. He may have a chip on his shoulder, but I don't think he has the ego. Give him a few years starting every game and getting 30 minutes a night and he may develop into a top 10 point guard, but I dont see that happening. Certainly not on Portland.

Jack--He reminds me of Porter, Kersey, Drexler when they first entered the league. He doesnt really have any glaring weaknesses, so as long as he steadily improves(as he has been), and as long as he gets the minutes like those guys did in their nascency, I think he could sneak in as a 1 or 2 time allstar in a down year for point guards.

Victor--No, but I think he can be a career starter on the right team. Is he still running and jumping at 80% of his pre-surgery ability? That might have been a good question for Wheeler.

Webster--Yes, I think he'll be an All-star and is the surest of the group. He's proven a better athlete than was thought and should be able to get his shot off against anybody in a few years. He has the work ethic and ego. I'm hoping for Ray Allen.

While I had to choose one, I also like Jack. I think the last few games Jack has been starting to grow, and I noticed him and Nate communicating well.

I chose Webster as most likely. Good height, athletic, mass and sweet stroke. He just needs time.

Outlaw - no killer instinct.
Telfair - maybe
Khryapa - not enough ego, flash, etc to become a star.
Ha - project

I think Telfair is the likeliest to be a star. He's shown a great deal of ability, he's simply been inconsistent and that's not unexpected considering how inconsistent his playing time has been.

His handles and passing ability are exceptional even by NBA standards. His shot is coming around, and he shows a willingness to defend. He'll never be a great rebounder, but other than that, I like his potential a great deal.

I gotta go with Webster. He already grasps the NBA game better than Travis Outlaw, he's got better size for his position than Sebastian Telfair, and his shot is sweet. All he needs is some confidence and a determined inside player who's smart enough to know when to pass.

I think Telfair will also develop into a starter-worthy PG. Khryapa is 6th man material, and Jack ought to be a reliable Bobby Jackson/ Greg Anthony type of backup point for a good team. The rest? Long shots to be more than bench warmers, if you ask me. I'd hoped for better things from T-Law, but I'm really wondering if he's got the combination of drive and confidence, to go with his unbelievable athleticism.

I think Telfair's passing and Webster's shooting compliment eachother perfectly. Having a good shooter will make Telfair better and having a good passing PG will get Webster better shots and make him better. If one becomes a star I expect both of them to become stars. Both should be allstars someday IMO.

I really like Outlaw's game and his athleticism, but I'm not sure if he's smart enough to become a starter in this league. McMillan has said that he has trouble learning plays. This is his 3rd season in the NBA: he should have learned that skill already.

If he gets tougher defensively, I think he could be a great sparkplug/stopper off the bench. If his ball handling improves, he'll be able to get to the line at will. But not a starter IMO.

I'm gonna go with Martell. He's got one of the best looking shots I've seen in a while, and he shows a propensity for shooting high percentages in limited minutes. Let's see what happens when he gets extended PT and has more opportunities to 'get hot.'

I voted Martell. He's really got the complete package and he's a lot more athletic than I think a lot of people give him credit for. His defense is also pretty impressive considering he was in high school last year. I don't know if he has the ego or personality to be a "star" (if being a star requires populist charisma) but he's so young, he could grow into that.

I've been about as big of a Travis supporter as anyone outside is family, I think, but as a small forward, on defense, his big feet just don't move very quickly. He has the athleticism and length to make up for it a lot of times, and he's very hard to shoot against when he stays in front of his man. I've heard a lot of comments about how big his dad is so "therefore" he will get bigger. Although that certainly is not a given IMO, if he were a little bigger and stronger he would kill as a PF -- No one could keep up with him.

I think Telfair could be a star in this league for sure; just not playing for Nate. What a shame.

I enjoyed reading your unbiased fair analysis of our baby blazers and have to say I agree with you on almost all accounts.
