"El Busto" was incredible on D in game 2! If he plays like that all series long it will make Kidd think twice about penetrating! And without that, what else do the Nets have?

Was that a fluke or did he wake up?

Jemel, you may recall that this guy was a throw-in on the Nick trade with some upside potential, and I was looking forward to see how he would do in a Lakers uni.

Then West unceremoniously dumps him, sending him to Boston for Travis Knight.

Not one of West's better moves.

Yeah I remember. I don't know if I would call him a "throw-in" considering the only other component of the deal was Tyronn Lue.

Batman has improved over the season. Last year he had a really bad high ankle sprain that curtailed his improvement the 2nd 1/2 of last season.

This year he was backing up VPot and then when Vitaly got injured, Batman has blossomed - big time. He is a tough one, stands his ground and is a primary defender, but also has a nice little jumper every so often. Hard worker.

I've been impressed with Battie's hustle on D and on the boards, he looks really hungry for those rebounds.

I think this playoff run will really help his experience, and just imagine if he was playing beside a real low-post threat like say,,,,Duncan.

Do you think his rebounds would improve more with a low post threat? :)
