I think the nominees are: (not in order)

1)Shaq- He kicks it out to teamates, and is so creative.

2)Vlade- He is a very good, tricky passer.

3)Sabonis- Now that he is back in the NBA he will dish inside to Rasheed, something the Blazers need to do more.

4)Dikembe- He used to be so good at getting it to Iverson or other teamates.

But my choice goes to.......SHAQ!!!!!

I think it's Vlade Divac. He is a very smooth passer.

I should rephrase the topic: I meant best passing center.

Rik Smits was a damn good passing big man too. I remember his running in traffic, behind the back pass at the All-Star game a few years back. Not bad for a guy 7'4".

VLade if you any of his games it is remarkable how many assist he get compared to the amount of touches he recieves. He is by far is "one of the best passing" Centers of all time. The way he pass through traffic is truely remarkable.

If this is passing centers for the present only, Shaq.

If it is all time, Russell(4.3 APG regular season and UP to 4.7 APG in the playoffs!)

All time, has to be Bill Walton. The man could pass like no other, plain and simple. He is the best passing center ever. GO BILL

Not many know he once lead the league in assist. I believe he was the only big man to do that. Wilt deserves some mention if not the crown:laugh:

Wilt does - for the regular season, indeed - no center has a higher APG! BUT, as for the playoffs, his assists per game went down instead of UP - and that is where Russell outplayed him in the playoffs - with Russell's assists going UP instead of down.

But Wilt makes my all time list in the top 3 centers for passing for sure!

1.PAU GASOL - If you have seen him play you would know why he was Rookie Of The Year. He does behind the back passes that go around guys like KG, Shaq, and Duncan. Also I have seen him throw a few no-lookers.

2.Floppy Divac - He can pass on occasions.

3.Tim Duncan - Just because.

Shaq has the ability to kick out of the post when he is triple teamed- - Vlade can not kick out of the post like Shaq.
