There is no 'round-the-clock drumbeat to announce it. No scroll along the bottom of the TV screen to proclaim it. No breathless boob broadcasting ad nauseum to underscore it.

But the Big Ten is dominating the top of college basketball's polls. Three teams sit among the top six in both rankings, three among the top five in one.

Such a feat in football routinely sends the garden variety, ESPN-employed SEC shill into an absolute tizzy in September, incessantly proclaiming every other conference in the nation is toxic waste in comparison.

I've pretty much stopped watching espn unless it's a game or the first 10, 15 minutes of Sportscenter. Even that gets nauseating most of the time. The only difference between fox news and espn is that fox represents a party, espn a conference. I do get some snarky chuckles from it sometimes though, I mean they do really go out of their way to take shots at B1G football
