Overall, it was an evenly matched game. The one concistency that plauged both teams was the fact that they both had long scoring droughts, allowing the other team to come back and tie or take the lead. One thing that I really noticed is the lack of energy both centers had; Andy Feeley needs to not just stand there when a shot is being taken in front of him, and Nick Billings had very little ball control, especially when he was being double teamed.

Nick sometimes does have some trouble handling the ball down low, but "lack of energy", I think not, he usually plays with lots of enthusiasm. He often recovers from fumbling the ball and ends up slamming it or kicking out for a perimeter shot. His stats from tonight's game: FG 8-12, FT 5-8, 11 RB, 21 points, 5 blocks, 1 steal - not a bad day at the office!! He has scored over 20 points 3 games in a row. Bearcats now tied for 4th and seemingly improving steadily. Next up: against Hartford in the Events Center debut, probably in front of a sellout crowd of 4600 Sat. afternoon.
