LINK5. Steve Blake, Wizards (No. 38)
Key Stats: 39 GP, 5.6 ppg, 3.2 apg, .354 3P%, .889 FT%, 19.4 mpg
Breakdown: The Wizards drafted Blake for his ball-handling, court vision and defense, but the team never envisioned the rookie point guard as a scorer. Blake's scoring has jumped lately, however, as he had 18 and 17 points (including a combined 7-for-10 three-point shooting) in his last two games. In his last seven games overall, the Maryland alum is averaging 11.6 points, 5.1 assists and 1.57 steals. Most importantly, Washington has won three of its last four.
It won't last I'm sure, but it's still nice to see Blake's recent good play getting recognized.
