Brandon Roy = Michael Finley?

I'm not a big player comparison guy, but I wanted to put this one out there. Strikes me as probably the most all-round (Finley too could shoot, put it on the floor and play hardnosed defense IMO) and polished player in this draft, and just seems like the quintessential glue-guy/3rd option. Perhaps I'm underselling Fin there, but my justification is I could see him as a Finley to a Dirty and Nashty.

Orlando/Toronto perfect fits perhaps, those being teams set with big and PGs?

Finley was a freaky athlete in his younger years. I haven't seen much of Roy but from what I have seen he doesn't seem like he is as athletic as Finley was with Wisc. or the Suns.

Roy is Jalen Rose, without all the moaning, whining, face-twisting, looking at the officials in disbelief while your man is scoring a lay-up on the other end of the court, flailing arms, ball-hoggin and me-first attitude that begs for a definition with more feeling than "selfish".

:curse:

I'd say that makes him pretty good, but not Michael Finley good!
