What's up everyone? I've been away for a while and I just thought stop by and show off the new dud for me and my son. Anyway ..take care and go Bulls. I am going to Vegas in a couple of weeks and I am seriously thinking about dropping a dove ($20) on the Bulls to win the Eastern Conference. It'll be a long shot, but if it were to happen ... I could start a nice little college fund for the little man and maybe bring the North Carolina B-Ball Program back to respectability.

Take care

Nice pic!

Go for it - Sounds like a solid Vegas investment unlike my usual 6 team parlay - which reminds when of a game where the Clipps scored 20 points in the last 2 minutes to close within 11 of the Suns & destroy a trust fund of my own..

Thanks. Parlays are killers. One minute you think you've got a chance to retire and then one lousy game doesn't cover and you're ripping up your ticket and calling for the cocktail waitress to set you up with another round of watered-down well drinks that you spike with the JD you have in the flask in your pocket. 9 times out of 10, you leave town shaking your head in amazement wondering how the oddsmakers do it. But you know in a year or so, you'll be back at it again.

Hey Michael

Maybe your boy and mine will be the next killer 4 and 5 combo for the Bulls 20 years from now

I already have my boy slated as a Center to get taken by the Bulls in the draft of 2021 after a stellar 4 year career at Duke

I am sure your boy and mine will be able to sought out the Blue Devil/Tar Heel thing and they will be set to take up the slack after Tyson and Eddy step down

He is 2 , his first word ( not kidding ) was ball and he can already dribble both hands, dunk on his mini ring and pass to Dad  When he turns 3 , I'm starting him on his footwork in the post - maybe teach him a drop step and a dipsy do

Yours in pipe dreams ( and to our boys being future Bulls )

FJ

FJ,

Thanks and I am all over your idea. Great pic of your boy and he looks like a definite "star in the making". You sound a lot like me (working on his game at such a young age ... that is awesome). In about 18 or 19 years from now, my boy will be sinking a 22 ft jumper from the wing to give NC the NCAA title over your Dukies. (Let the record reflect that I am not a Carolina fan, I just think it would be fitting for a future Bull to go to NC).

My boy (Blake) is just over 5 months old, but is in the 98th percentile in height and the 96th percentile in weight. Since birth, he's been a motorboat. He is constanting peddling his legs. So I'm guessing that he'll be pretty fast. Hopefully he hasn't inherited my jumping ability or else we might see him in Yankee pin stripes instead of a Bulls uni. Actually, I am raising my boy to focus on two sports, basketball and baseball. It'll be the first time a rookie 2-sport athlete will have won the MVP Award in both sports. Yeah right! But it's fun to pretend.

Anyway, great looking kid and keep working with him on his game. He's what I call a true "diaper dandy".

Take care

Michael

Actually I sometimes like Bagaric's footwork, but you get the point...

Well Michael it sounds like shades of 82 when some Tar Heel freshman put it in the hole off a J from the wings - and if Blake can emulate such greatness than it is the duty of very Bulls fan worldwide to ensure that boy be a Bull

That's cool

I'm teaching my boy ( Ryan ) to be the best passing big man since Sabonis so he'll be in the post - faking his man out by making a move to the left , getting the defender up of his feet in the process and then threading it through his legs with a snappy bounce pass to Blake who will be flying in from the right wing to take the bounce pass at full tilt for the emPHATtic finish

Now that's Bulls basketball !

They might both have a drop step, but my money's on FJ's kid to already have quicker hands and better judgment.

My boy will be three in November, and I've got another male child cooking up, with an ETA of early January, so I hope I can help round out the roster.

But my 18 month old daughter is the one who's gonna have the skillz and the monsta hops! She's going to kick everybody's butt, take names and then kick 'em again!

We are all blessed with riches beyond our wildest dreams - as fathers and as Bulls fans as we meld this extraordinary dynastic talent pool of future Bulls 20 years from now

Mebbee Chi will have a WNBA team by then featuring your girl

House always wins my friend. FYI, I was in Vegas a couple months ago, and really enjoyed the Cirque 'O' show... it was spectacular. Tix were around 80 each, but well worth it. Gave me a nice break from losing $$, drinking watered down drinks, smoking cigars, and flirting w/ scantily dressed women. Eh. Give 'O' a try if you're in to shows.

Great looking kid you got there. A future star, sports or no sports.

No doubt. Blake's first outfit aside from the one that he wore coming home from the hospital was a Bulls' onesie. Check it out ...

I also have him a pair of Chicago Bulls overalls when he gets bigger. My wife thinks I am obsessed. I think she's right. She drew the line when I suggested that the theme of the nursery should be "Chicago Bulls".

Thanks! I am so grateful that he inherited his looks from his mama, I mean afterall that the real money is in the endorsements. My friend to see Cirques Ole' and said the same thing ... that it was awesome. I'm assuming that it's still at The Belagio. I'm not sure if I will have time to catch it. I have 3 rounds of golf scheduled, baby duty, time slotted for the Espn Zone and Gameworks, Sunday camped out in the Sportsbook, Lemon Drops at the poolside, dinner at a couple nice places, and a lot of craps playing. It's going to be an action packed 3 and 1/2 days! I can't wait! But my wife would love the O show, maybe I'll surprise her with tickets. Thanks for the advice.

That's great! I can see it now ... Ryan and Blake running the low-post give and go. Or Blake leading the break and laying hard off the glass for a tomahawk put-back by Ryan. The crowd goes wild!

I'm certain that your boy already has MUCH better footwork and is a better defender than Dali.

My 6 month old neice (no kids for me, yet) has a Lakerfan Daddy. She actually has a KOBE BRYANT ONESIE!

She is starting off right since her name is Payton after the greatest Bear of them all. Looks like Aunt Lizzy is going to have to buy her some Bulls gear for Christmas. And feel the anger and wrath of her dad.

ETA - You both have beautiful babies! I'm getting to the age where I want to cry when I see other people's kids. Can't wait to chher them on in 2020!

Thanks Lizzy. I'm sorry to hear that your beautiful niece is forced to wear a Faker onsie. You have to do your part to try and convert her into being a Bulls fan. I agree, the Payton is awesome. Although I never was much of a Bulls fan, I always respected and admired Sweetness for the incredible talent and remarkable human being that he was. The world is a much poorer place without him.

Load Payton up with Bulls gear though! Don't worry about having kids of your own, it'll happen soon enough.
