Anyone catch the Bulls new TV commercial, appropriately titled "Larger Than Life" on FoxSports? It's a huge improvement over last year's "I Love the Bulls/Bulls Never Quit" themes.

The TV spot shows highlights and the pet moves of individual Bulls players (including JWill) as though they were being displayed on huge billboards and wall murals. Very classy!

Yes. Those ads are great! A HUGE improvement of those BS ones from last year: Why do you want Bulls season tickets? "So I can see Kobe Bryant!" Screw yourself lady! haha. I've seen 2 different ads, both similar with the same theme. Both times I've seen them were during commercials of Cubs games on WGN. One commercial ends with Jalen's image dribbling on the side of a building, the other one ends with JWill dribbling between his legs. The ads are pretty cool and are kind of based off the Nike commercial that features all of the dribbling moves to music... What I like most is it shows them doing cool moves, but it also features ALL of the young, exciting players.

I think in Washington we got a commercial last year that looked like I shot it on my home video camera from Kwame proclaiming we should buy season tickets and get a Kwame bobbleheaded doll.

It had neat zoom in and zoom out like the camera guy was manually adjusting the zoom by running back and forth.

A couple weeks later they added Brendan Haywood to the campaign for a Haywood sports bottle.

It must be nice to get any kind of campaign.

*sigh* I now know at 4 in the morning, I'll be scanning through the channels, looking for these commercials. I'll also know they won't be on, but I can't fall asleep till I find them!

I saw it while watching "The Best Damn Sports Show" on FoxSports, if that's any help.

Yeah, I hated those commercials last year. Those seemed to be aimed at middle-class families in order to try and get the family come out to a game. I've never heard the new stadium so quiet throughout the game. Some people actually looked at me funny when I was getting excited about the game.

I think that Chicago fans should at least understand how you can love a losing team. Not meant to be a knock here, but look at the Cubs.

We need more REAL Bulls fans, not just my hometown team is good so I'll go to a game and cheer loudly with everyone else kind of fans. i.e. fairweather.

I believe those days are over, Hawk. I understand that ticket sales, including season ticket sales are way up over previous years. As soon as the Bulls drafted Jay Williams tickets began selling at a brisk pace. From what I'm hearing, the Bulls should be right near the top in league attendance once again.

Yeah but the Bulls commercial featured a shot of a dog drinking out of a water fountain. If that isn't filler b/c they have nothing good to say - I don't know what it? :|

Of the two Bulls games I've attended at the UC (in other words - I'm no expert) the Dunkin Donuts race got the loudest cheer. :sigh:

I miss the old ones, they made me laugh (mostly b/c they were just plain silly). Plus, a friend of mine was in the background on a couple of the shots... one in particular where this old black dude was saying '[the Bulls] never quit' while looking all hard. LOL.

The new marketing theme is pure genius. The UC will continue to get near sellouts while yuppies and corporate America continue to buy up all the good seats, pushing the loyal contigent into the nosebleeds. But hay, I'm not complaining. If the Bulls start to win, maybe the UC will get back to where it used to be. Maybe.

I WISH I KNEW!!!

Hopefully this is not off topic but if it is, please forgive me? I wish I knew what it felt like to watch a game at the UC! I live in Birmingham, Alabama and have seen TWO Bulls games in my life....both against the hawks in atlanta in 1997 and 1998. Man, it was great. Even the hawks fans were cheering for MJ, Pip and Rodman. As a matter of fact, they had the atlanta mascot during halftime playing musical chairs with a group of about 6 small kids. EACH KID HAD A DIFFERENT COLORED WIG ON!!! Guess where that idea came from? I loved it. (Guess who won both games? LOL) I wish i could get to one game at the UC. It would be a blast. I would be happy just to be there. Oh, and to get back to the thread (LOL) down here I do not guess I will get to see those commercials unless they are played during games on NBA LEAGUE PASS!!! YEAH BABY....3rd year in a row I have had it and I feel this one will definitely be the most enjoyable to watch! GO BULLS!!!:grinning:
