Nice.

I figure I should have a macro with the name left out. _______ gets PAID.

Love the deal for both sides. If catching is too much, Posey's bat plays anywhere.

You play two full seasons and help lead your team WIN two World Series rings. That's worth some money. WINS and winning always determine the best.

It's pretty crazy what he's accomplished in his first two full seasons. Two world series titles, a batting title, NL ROY and NL MVP award. Great player who is just getting started.

So, why is the Yankees payroll so high? They haven't won much this past decade.

The Yankees make more on local Radio than most teams make off local TV. They can afford to outspend basically everyone else, but it isn't that big of a help half of the time because they're paying the wrong guys.

Now that you have given him this much money and you seen his history of getting hurt playing catcher. If you where the Giants Do you move him to 1B or LF?

It's not like he has a long history of injuries -- he was injured once, in a brutal collision at home plate and bounced back stronger than ever to win the NL MVP and another world series title the very next season. He already plays 1B part time to keep his legs fresh and his bat in the lineup every day, no need to do anything different now.

Don't follow baseball that hard but not sure why you'd pay him like that then keep him as a crash dummy

They have been telling him to use the el matador technique at the plate instead of that stuff. I don't think you can find a lot of video of him being involved in big collisions because he's being told to avoid them.

Is he going to avoid it in the 8th inning? It only takes one time

It's easy to talk theoretically in March but in-game if he's everything they think he is being at that position will eventually come back on him
