I will be traveling to Chicago in May (around the 14th or so) for a few days. I assume this will be the second round of the playoffs, since the schedule won't be like last year's.

If I want to purchase 2nd round playoff tickets, and the Bulls do not make the 2nd round, do I lose all my money? Do they pay all or part of the ticket fees back to customers if they Bulls fail to advance?

Could someone please explain the whole scenario, and what would be best to do in my situation.

According to the Bulls.com article:

Refunds for any unplayed home games will be given through the place of purchase.

Yikes, the reservation fees are $20-100 a game PER ticket...that's a little steep.

I'm probably going to show up at the United Center and try to buy tickets in person...?

Will mid May still be the 2nd round of the playoffs, or Conf. finals?

If not, I might need to try to get tickets for a Wiz vs Bulls game ,and drive down there. The trip to DC might be tough though b/c of school.

Nice how we get a refund for nonplayed games.
